J-Live’s most recent single, “No Time To Waste“, from the highly anticipated forthcoming album SPTA (dropping Spring 2011) is now available on iTunes. The 4 song “EP” (single really) includes the main and instrumental versions of both “No Time To Waste”, produced by the legendary Diamond D, and a brand new track “Watch Sun Watch”, produced by the Live on himself. “Watch Sun Watch” features the young, talented up and coming emcee, YC The Cynic. “No Time To Waste is also available on 12″ vinyl with “Home Or Away” on the b side.

After closing 2010 with his latest EP “Undivided Attention”, J-Live sets off 2011 strong with a brand new single “No Time To Waste”. Produced by the legendary Diamond D of D.I.T.C., “No Time To Waste” is the lead off single for the forthcoming album “SPTA Said Person of That Ability” slated to drop later this spring. This first ever collaboration between J-Live and Diamond D is available on 12″ vinyl record with main clean instrumental and acapella versions. The B side features the same compliment of versions for “Home or Away”, one of the stand out tracks on the Undivided Attention EP. No Time To Waste is currently available for digital download exclusively at J-Live.bandcamp.com

After it’s earlier digital release to iTunes, Bandcamp, Amazon and the like, J-Live’s latest EP “Undivided Attention” is now available on vinyl on Triple Threat Productions. As Triple Threat does not plan to press the EP on CD, the wax will be the sole physical release.

Producer extraordinaire Floyd The Locsmif is back and preparing to release the third edition of his instrumental series “Divine Designz” The first shot across the bow is this new two song maxi single “Talk About” B/W “Flowtation”. “Talk About” features J-Live spittin with Locsmif ferociously cutting up lines from J-Live’s track “Do That Shit” off of “All Of The Above” as the hook. The B Side “Flowtation” is yet another classic instrumental. Locsmif and J-Live have teamed up several times before; From tracks like “Audio Visual” and “What You Holdin?”, to the most recent critically acclaimed song “Fitness” featuring Homeboy Sandman on J-Live’s new “Undivided Attention EP”

J-Live Featured on New Free Mixtape

If you were at the A3C festival the first thing you’ll probably noticed was a massive RV by the entrance. Inside that RV was the mobile recording studio where Atlanta’s longest running hip hop radio show, the “Beatz and Lyrics Show” hosted by Jayforce bringing you the “Beatz and Lyrics 2 Go” A3C Mixtape presented by Unique Squared. This year’s mixtape features contributions from over 70 different artists and producers. Artists like Camp Lo, Artifacts, J-Live, Aleon Craft, and Sha Stimuli recorded tracks and other notables such as 9th Wonder, DJ Toomp, and DJ Evil Dee checked in (A3C Wrap-up). Production team The Dynamite Brothers (J Haze and Amond Jackson) put the mix tape together and DJ Precyse provided all of the cuts.
